At a time where I was considering designing my own balisong, I came across this project by Green Blade Balisongs online. When I first laid eyes…🥹 but no in all seriousness lol, when I first saw the initial prototypes, I knew I was going to like it. After jamming mines for a bit (on the left), I’ve come to really appreciate the lightness and scale. It allows for a lot of comfortable exploration with finger strength based elements. The extra weight (removable) in the blade, adds the right amount of variation to the weighting, to give you a couple distinct setup options.
”Although Nera’s are made from acrylic, they have a very neutral balance. Nera blades aren’t as durable so I recommend flipping them over soft surfaces. Nera’s are handmade, so the specs will vary slightly from mod to mod.”
